COLORSTEEL® MAXAM™ represents the next generation of COLORSTEEL®, combining the brand's renowned quality and consistency with the innovative ACTIVATE™ Technology. This advancement offers superior durability and enhanced corrosion resistance, making it an ideal choice for diverse environments, from alpine regions to urban centers. Developed specifically to withstand higher atmospheric salt concentrations, COLORSTEEL® MAXAM™ ensures long-lasting performance, making it a versatile solution for properties located on the coast, inland, in geothermal areas, or industrial settings. It is designed to be a one-size-fits-all solution, except in extremely severe or aggressive environments where COLORSTEEL Altimate® may be more appropriate.
The key features of COLORSTEEL® MAXAM™ include its use of an AM150 ZINCALUME® steel substrate, which is covered with a multi-coated paint system. This system consists of a unique composition and microstructure with ACTIVATE™ Technology, providing enhanced corrosion resistance. The material is coated with a high-performance AM metallic alloy that includes magnesium, with a nominal coating mass of 150g/m², as per AS1397:2013 standards. The base metal thickness is typically 0.40 mm or 0.55 mm. Additionally, a 3-layer organic coating is applied to both sides of the material, offering exceptional protection against tough environmental conditions. COLORSTEEL® MAXAM™ is available in all COLORSTEEL® colors and various profiles, ensuring it suits any home or building. The paint technology used also provides excellent resistance to chalking and fading, and an Environmental Product Declaration is available for this product.
